Accelerated Reader (AR) is the world’s most popular reading management software. The Accelerated Reader program is in high gear.  So what is Accelerated Reader you ask?  Accelerated Reader is a program that allows students to check out a book from the library and take a test on it.  If the student passes the test the student will receive points for that book. Depending on the number of correct answers the program will adjust itself to give the proper point amount.
